2013 AUDITION INFORMATION:
- Bring a current head shot and resume, stapled together
- Please be prepared to stay until the audition is completed (excluding EPA)
- Please bring appropriate dance attire
- Be ready to show off your personality and ability to interact with an audience
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
SINGERS: (Equity and Non-Equity Contracts)
Prepare two brief songs which display versatility. Bring sheet music in the proper key for the accompanist. Please choose upbeat, positive music. You will also need to prepare a song from the RWS repertoire. You may be asked to dance.
To view song options from the RWS repertoire, please click on the music note icon and you will be able to access audio tracks and sheet music from one of RWS’s award-winning shows. Please choose one song for your audition selection.

DANCERS: (Equity and Non-Equity Contracts)
At dance auditions and/or callbacks, you will learn a short combination taught by one of our staff choreographers. If you have not already sung, you MAY be asked to sing.
MUSICIANS: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Prepare two brief selections of contrasting styles, which demonstrate your versatility. Singing and/or sight-reading may be requested. Be prepared to tell a joke or short story to show off your personality. Instruments other than piano are not provided.
PLEASE NOTE: A piano may be available for use at select locations
TECHNICIANS/STAGE MANAGERS: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Please bring resume; interviews will be conducted during auditions.
STUNT PERFORMERS: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Please prepare a brief stunt combination to show off your ability. Tumbling is a plus. You may be asked to read. PLEASE NOTE: Mats will NOT be provided.
SPECIALTY PERFORMERS: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Please prepare a brief portion of your act, no longer than three minutes
in length.
DJs: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Please send headshot (or picture), resume, and demo/sample of your work to Auditions@RWSandAssociates.com. You may be contacted for an interview. In-person interviews will also be conducted at any of our New York City area auditions. Please contact Auditions@RWSandAssociates.com for an appointment time.
COSTUMED CHARACTERS: (Non-Equity Contracts)
Interviews will be conducted during auditions. You may be asked to learn
a short movement combination.
